From Sharm: Mount Moses Trekking, Sunrise & Monastery Visit
1.From Sharm: Mount Moses Trekking, Sunrise & Monastery Visit
You leave Sharm around 8 to 9 PM, ride about four hours to Mount Sinai, and climb through the night with a Bedouin guide. Reach the 2,285-meter summit for sunrise, descend on foot, then visit St. Catherine’s Monastery. Guides such as Ashrof, Ibrahim, Ali, and Amr have been praised for their care and multilingual help.

“Everything was really well organised. Immediate contact right after the booking with all the necessary details provided. During the trip everything as per the schedule. Really nice and friendly guides; from Sharm, as well as the Bedouins. The mountains are truly stunning. The trekking requires lots of energy, strength and determination not because it is very long, (7km one way is not that far in terms of trekking), however setting off at night and trekking during nighttime is more energy consuming. The trail is also extremely crowded and noisy. The hikers need to give way to camels while trekking. The Mountain View is amazing and it can be really cold…”
